To us, Empathy is about listening to understand. Understanding your hopes and fears both financially and in your personal life. This is so we can make recommendations that align with who you are and what you need.

Trust – Firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something.

To us, Trust means that you can talk to us and know that we are giving you impartial and independent advice. It means telling you if we don’t know the answer but will find it. It means telling you if your financial plan cannot support your lifestyle choices or if your goals are unrealistic. We want to work with you for the long term, and therefore the trust must be mutual and continuously worked upon. We will not take liberties with your trust.

Integrity – Soundness of moral principle; the character of uncorrupted virtue, esp. in relation to truth and fair dealing.

To us, Integrity is the symbiosis of our actions and words. We live our values. We stand by our recommendations. But we are humble enough to take onboard new information and change accordingly.

Authenticity – The quality of undisputed origin.

To us, Authenticity is about being true to ourselves. It is incredibly tiring trying to be someone you are not. We are EWM. The sum of our individual parts makes up what we do daily: our processes and procedures, habits and goals. This delivers clarity of message and consistent standards.

Transparent – Allowing light to pass through so that objects behind can be distinctly seen.

To us, Transparency refers to the extent to which you have ready access to us. This is through our relationship with you, our communications and our website. Most importantly, it is through meeting with you, talking with you and sharing in your journey.

Communication – The imparting or exchanging of information or news.

The most common definition of communication needs to be revised; it is too basic. To us, Communication is about bridging the distance between our minds. We intend to deliver timely, accurate, and relevant information enabling your decision-making. We hope for the same from you. We need to understand each other. Therefore we need to listen and respond in a manner that ensures comprehension.
